Why I love being a freelancer

Transitioning from a full time job to full time freelancer can be quite difficult especially to those who had been working full time employee for years. Being a first time freelancer requires patience and determination. You need to work hard by promoting yourself to attract more clients.

People who had full time job before are afraid to take the risk of a freelancer. They had that in mind that a full time job is more stable and they can pay all the rents and bills. They are partly correct though, if you are still starting as a freelancer, the money that you earned isn’t good enough to pay your debts.

However, being a freelancer would make your life more easier and exciting. Yes, you are working alone and you will learn how to be independent. You also get to interact directly with your clients, you are responsible for everything that you do. And if you dedicate yourself as a freelancer, you will be more successful.

Staying at home and working can be so much fun, you can accept visitors while you’re working, you also get to do the household chores, you can do multitasking. You can watch television while working, have a food delivered to you. And if you want to have a vacation, you can bring your work with you, you can contact your client while your out of town and have your work finished on time. You can never experience being late because you don’t need to travel from one place to another and got annoyed with the traffic jams. Staying and working at home can avoid much stress.

You may be experiencing difficulties a few months of being a freelancer, but if you really work hard and strive more, you will become successful. And you’ll be more satisfied and more happy with your work. As what Confucius say, choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.
